How to get here

You can reach the Island of Rab travelling by various means of transport.

Ferry Mišnjak – Stinica

If your travel by car the best connection between the Island and the Mainland is provided by Stinica – Mišnjak ferry, the line that operates throughout the year and the navigation lasts for 15 minutes. Stinica – Mišnjak ferry line operates non-stop during the summer time without any regular schedule.(www.rapska-plovidba.hr)

Ferry Valbiska – Lopar

Lopar-Valbiska ferry line connects the settlement of Valbiska on the Island of Krk with Lopar, situated in the northern part of the Island of Rab. This line has been recently attracting more and more travellers every day. The navigation lasts for 1,5 hour and it will be easy for you to find a place in a cosy cabin foreseen for travellers who can use it during the navigation enjoying a beautiful sightseeing of the northern part of the Adriatic Coast, called Kvarner.

Catamaran Rijeka – Rab – Novalja

The Island of Rab is also well served by a catamaran, a passenger boat connecting the Island of Rab with the mainland town of Rijeka and the settlement of Novalja on the Island of Pag. The daily catamaran line starts from Rijeka and reaches the Island of Rab in less than 2 hours, continuing its navigation towards the Island of Pag. Travelling by catamaran is comfortable and cost efficient.

Catamaran Zadar – Silba – Rab – Krk – Rijeka

A new fast ship passenger line connects several islands with the mainland: the town of Rijeka – the Island of Krk – the settlement on the Island of Rab – the pedestrian Island of Silba – the town of Zadar. A complete trip lasts for 4 hours, but if you travel from Rijeka to the settlement of Lopar on the Island of Rab – you will navigate for 2 hour.

Regular bus lines run daily from the towns of Zagreb and Rijeka to the Island of Rab and a bus line runs from the town of Varaždin during the summer season.

The nearest airport is placed on the neighbouring Island of Krk where several international airlines connect the airport of Rijeka with various European towns. You can find the flight timetable on the Rijeka Airport website. Thera are also airports that can be reached by car in only 2 to 3 hours, and those are the airports of Zagreb, Zadar and Pula. Passenger transfers from and to the airports of Zagreb, Zadar and Pula are available and organised by Imperial. You can get more information and book your transfer at transfer@imperial.hr
